A great two days for our Pre-season team event

Despite some heavy squalls of rain on the first day we had a very enjoyable two days at our Pre-season team even at Mottram Hall in Cheshire.

There were some fabulous scores especially by the winning team from Cumbria - Judith Cantrell, Karen Guest, Cherry Archer and Diney Standen with a total score for the 2 days of 189 points.

A very enjoyable dinner

We all got together at the end of the first day in the St Andrews Suite for a delicious evening meal.
However, we were all eager to get to watch Rory try to win the green jacket for the second time. He didn't make it easy for himself - or for us watching - but he made it in the end.

Despite not a lot of sleep we were all up bright and early to tackle the course again - thankfully in much more benign conditions.

Over all too soon

A lovely two days and a great way to begin our golfing season.

We must thank our Secretary Jo and Treasurer, Helen for all their hard work organising and ensuring the whole event ran perfectly. Thanks Jo and Helen!
Also, thanks to Mottram Hall for whom nothing was too much bother.
