Our new Northern President elect

Congratulations Elaine!

It was Northumberland's turn to select the next Northern President and who better than Elaine Elliott.
Elaine has had a long, varied and distinguished golfing career - playing for Northumberland at both County and Vets level for many years.

She was selected eight times to play for our Northern team in the Jamboree against the best senior lady golfers from the South, Midlands and Scotland.
In that time she was on the winning team twice - succeeding, with her team, in winning the Miller Stirling Trophy.

As well her golfing prowess, Elaine became Northumberland County Captain in 2000 and President in 2021. In between she was Northumberland County Vets Captain for 2017.

She was selected to be Captain of the Northern Counties for 2013 and was delighted to be part of the winning Northern team both during her Captaincy and whilst she was Vice Captain.

So, we know Elaine will do a brilliant job as our future President and we wish her all the best when she takes on the role of President of the Northern Counties following our AGM in November.
