The 2022 Jamboree was held at the magnificent venue Moor Park Golf Club in Hertfordshire 9th to 11th August.
The 3 day event was played in extremely difficult conditions, the heat and the tough and demanding bouncy course.
The first day we halved with the South and unfortunately, we lost to the Midlands on the second day.
The weather was hotting up and there were extreme amber weather warnings forecasted. Due to this the final day was to be 18 holes, 8 singles teeing off from 7.30am.
Although we knew now we couldn’t win the Miller Sterling Trophy we played absolutely brilliantly on the final day beating Scotland, not losing a single match.
However, to win the Tony Moffat Quaich we needed the Midlands to beat the South. It was all so close!
Congratulations to the South who beat the Midlands and were the champions winning the Miller Sterling Trophy.
At this point I would like to thank our supporters who came down south and volunteering to caddy when needed. The players I know especially loved seeing you all there and asked me to pass on their appreciation, it meant a lot to them.
I could not be any prouder and asked anymore of our team who played their hearts out all week in the really difficult conditions.
As you can tell we always had a smile on our faces and enjoyed the week immensely.

Thanks everyone for your support and making this a very special year for me, with many happy memories to look back on.
